Jose Pedro was born on June 30th, 1889 in San Felipe, Cuquío, Jalisco, Mexico and his baptism took place there on June 30th, 1889.^1 2

Jose Pedro's father was Florentino Delgadillo and his mother was Maximilliana Rodriguez.  His paternal grandparents are Norberto Delgadillo and Refugio Mora; his maternal grandparents are Bacilio Rodriguez and Zenona Agudano. He had a brother and five sisters, named Jose Ynocencio, Maria Margarita, Maria Antonia, Maria Refugio, Juana and Prudencia.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
