Maria Antonia was born on May 14th, 1885 in San Felipe, Cuquío, Jalisco, Mexico and her baptism took place there on May 14th, 1885.^1 2

Maria Antonia's father was Florentino Delgadillo and her mother was Maximilliana Rodriguez.  Her paternal grandparents are Norberto Delgadillo and Refugio Mora; her maternal grandparents are Bacilio Rodriguez and Zenona Agudano. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Jose Pedro, Jose Ynocencio, Maria Margarita, Maria Refugio, Juana and Prudencia.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.
