Lina was born in 1884 in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes and her baptism took place on September 28th, 1884 in Señor del Encino, Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico.1  Lina's father was Pablo Macias and her mother was Regina Delgado (Salas).  Her paternal grandparents were Quirino Macias and Ma. Del Refugio Martinez; her maternal grandparents were Liberato Delgado and Mariana de Salas. She had a brother and a sister, named Anastasio and Virginia.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Florencio, Crecenciano, Ma. Del Refugio, Delfina, Ma. Cleofas, Sebastiana and Agapita.
