Augustine, known as Papatíne, was born on May 28th, 1886 in El Rancho San Francisco del Llano, Ags, Ags and his baptism took place on May 30th, 1886 in Señor del Encino, Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico conducted by Father Nesnarío Martín del Campo.1   His godfather was Theodoro Durón and his godmother was Pertra Macias. Papatíne's father was Refugio Duron and his mother was Ma. Gabina Medina Macias.  His paternal grandparents were Teodoro Duron and Ma. Bictoriana Ledesma (Lechuga); his maternal grandparents were Camilo Medina and Ma. Juana Petra Macias (Lopez). He had five brothers and six sisters, named Justo, Romulo, Albino, Epimeño, Matilde, Maria, Eulalia, Clara, Marcelina, Maria and Concepcion.  He died from a heart attack at the age of 80 on April 17th, 1967 in Compton, California.1
