Juana's father is Jose Serapio Ortega and her mother is Maria Buenaventura Guerrero (Ortega).  Her maternal grandparents are Georgue Guerrero and Maria Manuela Silva (Guerrero). She had two brothers and three sisters, named Jose , Josse, Maria, Maria and Maria.  She was the youngest of the six children.  Juana is no longer alive.
