Jose Ynocencio was born on December 30th, 1891 in San Felipe, Cuquío, Jalisco, Mexico and his baptism took place there on December 30th, 1891.^1 2

Jose Ynocencio's father was Florentino Delgadillo and his mother was Maximilliana Rodriguez.  His paternal grandparents are Norberto Delgadillo and Refugio Mora; his maternal grandparents are Bacilio Rodriguez and Zenona Agudano. He had a brother and five sisters, named Jose Pedro, Maria Margarita, Maria Antonia, Maria Refugio, Juana and Prudencia.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.
