Agapita Macias (Martinez)

Agapita was born on August 6th, 1893 in San Marcos, TX.¹

Agapita's father was Pablo Macias and her mother was Ma. Del Refugio Martinez (Macias). Her paternal grandparents were Quirino Macias and Ma. Del Refugio Martinez; her maternal grandparents were Eulogio Martinez and Jacinta Aranda. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Florencio, Crecenciano, Ma. Del Refugio, Delfina, Ma. Cleofas and Sebastiana. She was the youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Anastasio, Lina and Virginia. She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Respiratory failure due to Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), at the age of 78 on February 24th, 1972 in Mcallen General Hospital, Mcallen, TX. The funeral took place on February 25th, 1972 in Valley Memorial Gardens, Mcallen, TX. She was buried on February 25th, 1972 in Valley Memorial Gardens, Mcallen, TX.¹¹
