Delfina Macias Rios (Martinez)

Delfina was born on December 24th, 1876 in El Rancho de San Francisco del Llano, Ags, Ags and her baptism took place on January 7th, 1877 in El Senor Del Encino, Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes conducted by Father D. Gumesindo Flores.¹   Her godfather was Catarino Paredes and her godmother was Felipa Gonzalez.

Delfina's father was Pablo Macias and her mother was Ma. Del Refugio Martinez (Macias).  Her paternal grandparents were Quirino Macias and Ma. Del Refugio Martinez; her maternal grandparents were Eulogio Martinez and Jacinta Aranda. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Florencio, Crecenciano, Ma. Del Refugio, Ma. Cleofas, Sebastiana and Agapita.  She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Anastasio, Lina and Virginia.  She died  due to Cerebral Hemmorage at the age of 72 on December 12th, 1949 in Corpus Christi, TX.  She was buried on December 13th, 1949 in McAllen Cemetary.^2 1 1
